VTS Ball Valve Family -- top and SIDE entry

6000 psi working pressure, low torque and bubble tight at ALL pressures - even vacuum.

Take an INTERACTIVE TOUR inside the VTS valve.
Open the VTS-P1 file with the link below.
An isometric view of the valve assembly will present itself.
Now the assembly can be rotated and viewed from any angle.
You can also section the assembly and show its internal parts.
Other options will permit viewing ANY combination of components.

If you are already a Solid Works user, you can bypass downloading the viewer
and call the assembly directly. Non-users will have to install the viewer,
then call the assembly file. Here are the links:
Click on the link below to load the Viewer. Run the application showing the VTS-P1 valve (0.5 inch bore).

Features of the VTS family:
The VTS valve series is a reduced cost version of our military Dynaflow family.
There are fewer components and some are side entry.
The separate side flange greatly simplifies body machining and reduces overall cost.
Meanwhile, most internal components are identical to those found in the Dynaflow family.

Retained is the single seat which is belville spring loaded against the ball and tested "bubble-tight" at all pressures.
Retained are the trunnion bearings which "fix" the ball and reduce operating torque.
Retained is the separate stem with its long life foot seal and o-ring sealing system.

New upper body style incorporates detents for locking the handle. This eliminates the need for a stop plate and fasteners.
New style handle uses "pull-back" spring loaded collar. These simple machined parts replace heat treated castings.
New "low-profile" handle incorporates etched arrow pointing to valve OPEN/SHUT condition eliminating separate indicator stamping.

Reduced maintenance time:
Since damaged seats are the common cause for valve leakage, the VTS seat assembly can be replaced by disconnecting only ONE port.
Remove the four bolts attaching the side Port Plate to access the seat assembly.
Install a new seat, o-ring and two back-up rings and reassemble.

Wider range of bore sizes. The VTS series is available with bores both larger and smaller than the Dynaflow family.
The VTS series offers many of the Performance Features of our Navy qualified VT family.
As with all SBVE products, the customer has complete choice of materials and port styles. We'll make it your way.
